These dated terms and your order’s plan price, covered products and quantity form your service contract. The plan is optional and separate from your included 1-year electronics warranty.
1. Your covered setup and one-time price

Your order identifies the selected plan and covered products. The price you actually paid for the plan is recorded separately from the goods and any applicable tax. Each plan covers its matched setup and quantity; a shared amplifier in a bundle is covered once. This is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
2. When coverage starts and ends
Coverage starts on the covered product purchase date and lasts for two years total, ending on the second anniversary of that purchase, unless the plan is canceled or ends after a full replacement. It does not add two years after the included manufacturer warranty.
Repairs do not restart or extend the term. A full replacement supplied under this plan ends coverage for that plan.
3. What the plan covers
The plan covers accidental spills and accidental damage to your covered setup, plus electronics failures through the end of year two. The matching amplifier is included in every plan option.
There is no deductible. Repeat covered repairs are included during the term. SoundBlanket arranges and pays for shipping to us and return shipping to you for covered service.
SoundBlanket will assess the problem and arrange a repair or a full replacement when needed. Replacing an individual component as part of a repair is a repair; a full replacement of the covered setup fulfills and ends the plan. A full replacement under the bundle plan means replacement of the covered bundle setup, including its shared amplifier.
4. Your included warranty remains separate
Your included 1-year electronics warranty is available whether or not you buy this plan. During the first year, electronics failures covered by that warranty are handled under the manufacturer warranty; the paid plan adds accidental-spill and accidental-damage coverage.
Claims, repairs and replacements handled under the included manufacturer warranty do not count as paid plan claims, reduce a plan cancellation refund or use the plan’s full-replacement benefit. This plan does not reduce any rights you have under the included warranty or applicable law.
5. How to request service
- Email hello@soundblanket.shop with your order number, a short description of the issue and a photo. If a photo cannot show the problem, explain what is happening.
- We match the products to your plan and arrange the covered service.
- Contact us before sending anything so we can provide shipping instructions and a prepaid label. Shipping to us and back to you is included for covered service.
You can use the same email address for plan questions or to follow up on a claim. Keep your order confirmation and this dated copy of the terms.
6. Cancellation and plan refunds
You can request cancellation by emailing hello@soundblanket.shop with your order number.
- Within 30 days of buying the plan, with no paid plan claim and no completed plan repair: a full refund of the plan price you paid.
- All other cancellations: 100% of the unused pro rata portion of the plan price you paid, less plan claims already paid or the cost of plan repairs already made on your behalf. The refund cannot be less than $0. There is no administration fee.
Opening a claim or asking for help does not, by itself, remove your eligibility for the first-30-days full refund.
The unused portion is calculated by remaining days in the original two-year term divided by total days in that term. For example, if half the term remains and there have been no paid plan claims or repairs, the refund is half the plan price paid. Included manufacturer-warranty claims or repairs are never deducted.
The same 100% unused pro rata calculation, less paid plan claims or repair costs and with no administration fee, applies if SoundBlanket cancels the plan. We confirm the calculation in writing. Any refundable tax is handled with the refund. You may request that your refund be remitted by check.
7. Returning covered products
A return of the entire covered setup also cancels its associated plan, with the plan refund calculated under section 6. The product return and product refund are handled separately under the applicable product-return policy.
If you return only part of a covered bundle, contact us so the plan can be matched to the products you keep. We will confirm the remaining covered products and any plan cancellation or refund in writing; returned products will not remain listed as covered.
8. Your copy, provider and contact
SoundBlanket is the provider of this plan. For service, cancellation, a mailed paper copy or questions, email hello@soundblanket.shop.
We provide this contract with your order. You have the right to receive it by United States mail instead of electronic delivery. If you do not agree to electronic delivery, tell us by email or in writing and we will provide a paper copy.
